"alternate" Sheep draw
« on: June 13, 2009, 12:04:11 AM »
I was selected as an "alternate" for Tieton sheep.  Can someone provide insight as what this is? :chuckle:

I drew a ALT. moose tag about 5or 6 years ago. I called and they said there is a deadline for getting the $ into them for the tag and if someone fails to do so or for whatever other reason  you just hit the lottery....Good luck

So my chances are very slim that one of the 4 selected hunters is going to bail out. I'd never heard of it until I saw it in my draw results.

this doesn't use your points i hope
No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.

I believe the only way you have to apply your points is if you buy the tag ... like bobcat says if someone dies basically!!! Did I just a gree with bobcat again??? Let me tell you after agreeing twice yesterday this is getting scary now!  :yike:

Geez, is it that bad to agree with me once in a while?  If you agree with anything I say it only means you're right.   :chuckle:

I like the way Bone put it, that's what i had to tell my dad when he was wondering what an "alternate" meant for a goat permit two years ago.......slim chances of getting a permit, but hey things happen and someone may not be able to go so you never know, but yeah...so close!!!!!!!!!
