make sure you print it out and frame it. Might be the closest you get to a sheep tag.

This was really getting to shape up for a fantastic week for me.  Started a full time job, great job at that after being laid-off for 4 months, both the wife and I were drawn for elk tags with 4 & 5 points.  And the possibility of sheep hunting.  Albeit a very small chance, I've got better odds then NOT SELECTED.  Ahh, I've got to look on the positive.  I've already contacted Pat2bear, best of luck to him.   :IBCOOL:

I was alternate years ago for Swakane sheep tag. First place for losers.  Now that I think of it, i should have framed the card.

Alternate for for Sheep, Goat, Moose and Deer??
« Reply #22 on: June 23, 2009, 08:55:25 PM »
Ok, now I am confused.  Received my WDFW draw results in the mail today, says I am alternate for Sheep, Goat, Moose and Deer.  Never heard of alternate for deer before.  Wonder if their reporting system is screwed up.  Is there typically one alternate for all OIL tags and it's possible I could get a call for one of the big three?  It was too late today to contact Olympia, gonna call them first thing in the morning.

My online results only showed Tieton Sheep alternate.  I may be wrong but I've not heard of anyone else drawing alternate this year on this forum.

Means you are the first loser, but have a chance to be a winner.. :chuckle:  My son drew a Moose alternate with 2 points when he was 10.  Nothing came of it.  Everyone bought their tags....

What you got in the mail must be in error then.

It will be interesting to hear what the folks in Olympia have to say.

Bummer man. I know how you feel. I was selected as an alternate for moose a few years back. Kinda makes ya wonder if that will be as close as you'll ever get doesn't it?
