Probably my best buck though I have another wt that is similar. Ironic part was this was a quick "meat hunt" trip where my old man and I were planning to try and fill one of two tags with first legal buck we saw. Ended up both killing bucks by mid afternoon and headed home that evening.

I'd like to read that thread again, isn't that the buck that landed on a tree bone?

A true WA giant.

I miss all your write ups of your high country bowhunts with the traditional bow, those were some epic adventures.

didn’t you have that buck entered in a the heads and horns competition at the Yakima sportsman show several years ago? If I remember right you won first place.

That was a different buck Ridge.   Yes Teanaway, and also managed to win the Glenn St Charles award.   That was a wonderful event.  We got to sit and eat dinner with Larry D Jones.  This buck was grossed bigger, but didn’t net as well.  So I suppose it was a toss up. In my mind The last one was the biggest. I got this one with a compound and not with a longbow.

My best, it's also my profile picture. None of my pictures from the field survived, I am hard on phones and cameras 😬

Is that a white bark pine behind you? That's a super cool photo with the rock and pine rather than the more usual bitterbrush and dirt.
