There's been some scuttlebutt about trusts eventually getting faster. My question is, "How?". Someone or something has to read the trust documents to make sure they are valid. I've seen a trust be the cause of a denial...same trust that had been previously used multiple times by this person to acquire NFA items.  So who's reading (interpreting) them? Who or what is going to read them faster? Are they going to hire a bunch of legalistic speed readers.....or will they deploy A.I.? :stirthepot:

I thought this was a pretty informative podcast. Sounds like Silencer Central is working on streamlining trust approvals by having their standard trust language essentially "pre-approved" by the ATF. They also explain why approval times have been drastically improved.

Is there a 10 day waiting period in WA after your form 4 is approved?

Agreed. But it was a trust application and from the best I can tell Silencer Central didn’t put my social security number on the application, which I have read can really prolong approval times. Should have gone through Dreadi. I will next time.

I appreciate that.
Omitting your SSN definitely could cause a delay in your background check. However, I can't promise that it would have been faster. Right now applications are moving faster obviously.

Today I received three approvals for two different people. Two of the applications were submitted with a trust and took longer than the individual application.
