I remember going to my cousins house when I was a kid. There were a bunch of woods behind his house with a trail that went to a pond. His back neighbor had traps like those tied to trees. We use to take big sticks and set them off. This was in the burbs about 30 years ago. 😳 He had a lot of other shady stuff going on .

No but we also found a burn pile that had burned up eagle carcasses in them. He was a crazy guy to me back then when I was a kid
