Anyone going out in the morning?
« on: November 20, 2007, 05:53:18 PM »
If so, where and for what?
I put in for time off, but changed my mind today. The weather looks to be dry and cool. I will probably go out Thursday and Friday, but then wait for wetter weather.
I will be in Winston on Thursday for elk an probably back in Thurston Co. for deer on Friday.

I am going to the desert unit in Moses to look for big bucks.  I was going to go today, but got in a huge fight with the Mrs. last night.  Didn't get any sleep and just didn't feel up to going.  Everything is back on track, so should get in a day tomorrow.  I hope anyway.

Bone, if you get in a bigger fight, she will want you to go. Or threaten that you will sit on the couch, hang out in the kitchen, or follow her around to her friends...you will be good to go! I know, offer to organize her purse for her.....this will surely get you the boot out the door!

I missed the AM but put in some time this evening near the house. Went looking for waterfowl today on the lake. I was up high on the hills glassing the water and looking for deer sign while walking around. We are losing habitate like mad so there has been a significant drop in the deer population around our subdivision. I've found several places where the deer have been pawing the ground, but no rubs!

We still have to fill my brothers archery tag, we were thinking of hitting the swakane area this week since the snow was coming in. Can anyone give me a report, anything in there yet worth making the drive?
