The area have elk there or deer?  Those look healthy.   Also what cartridges were used on them?  I always wonder if I run into one while yote hunting with a 2506.  Might just start using bigger guns.

Also,  how many other predators were called in before a lion came in?  You've got it figured out and I'm dying to learn!

There’s a few elk in the area but mostly deer. I’m definitely going to start using a larger caliber rifle. I think the 25-06 should be fine though. All three of these were 22 caliber, and they all took follow up shots.
I rarely have other predators come in when I’m targeting cougars. I think it’s because I’m playing the sounds at a high volume and coyotes and bobcats tend to shy away from high volumes. Both females came running into the call within 7 minutes of turning it on. The Tom we spotted about 150yds out at the 25minute mark just sitting there looking towards the caller.

I have a great video of mine coming into the call but I can’t figure out how to post it.

Literally saved upwards of 100 plus deer a year killing those 3 cats. If you are ever on the west side I'll buy you a steak dinner.

Picardjw,
I’m shooting a 70grn Barnes triple shock in a .22 Nosler. Not exactly sure what bullet my boys were using, 22-250 and 220 Swift.

I’ve tried to figure it out several times, dunno what I’m doing wrong it only lets me post photos. My videos don’t even show up as an option. If someone knows what they’re doing better then me I can send the video to them and maybe they can post it?
