Well I’m always coyote hunting then. If I shoot a bear the orange will come out of the pack and then I will be a bear hunter

May be the last year to hunt bear in August as well as get 2 bear tags.......Everyone should get after it and kill a few fawn killers.

I see bear season still opens on August 1 and you can harvest two bears statewide.Cougar says waiting for more research. I wondered if that meant you can’t hunt them right now but the quota page says most units are still open.

Looks like a new Elk area, in Stevens county, 1021. Thats majority private farm ground around there. The area isnt even updated on their mapping system yet, or at least that I can figure out.
