I would just call kitcom and hand it over to Leo.

Highly unlikely the owner is on this forum and that's assuming it's owner is legitimate. Who knows what the history of it is...stolen, criminal history....etc..
Some crimes in that area the last couple years they still haven't recovered firearm's for.. :twocents:

 :yeah:
If it’s in good shape probably a shed hunter lost it and reported it, if not could be involved in Ian Eckles murder. Or who knows what.

Yep get it to the County Sheriff. I found a hot rodded AR a couple of years ago and turned it over to the sheriff. The gentleman contacted me almost immediately that evening the sheriff had returned it to him and I ended up with a thank you card with $350.00 in it and a $60.00 bottle of booze. I tried to tell him no but he would have no such thing he said he had $6500 into the rifle. I just didn't want some kids getting ahold of it it had a can on the front and several different types of lights and sites.

Enough to make a guy sick once he realizes something been forgotten somewhere.

It's a Taurus 669 .357 mag.!!! If not, I'll guess another model.  And yeah, good on you for trying to find the owner.
