Most units and tags numbers have been in a heavy decline last 8 plus years no surprise

been hunting 560 GMU for years, cow tags have been reduced to this year i dont even see a drawing for modern firearm.. glad i have all those points paid in~ what BS!!!
They should have reduced those cow tags years ago
All the units around Mt. St. Helens had cow permits eliminated this year. Along with archery general season antlerless season.

I see 5 youth antlerless elk permits for 560, that's it.yep, last season i think there were 8 total cow tags for area. never shows master hunter stuff.. i know farmers on north side use them in 560 every year... 5 elderly tags vs kids who have lifetime to hunt was my statement there... i will go a step further and say maybe over 75 yo hunters, not assisted shooting. those guys may never have a chance again to harvest, cow gives a fighting chance on public lands......
