Venture to say CO has more hardcore hunters than Wa since they have more wildlife. With that they are more likely to speak up. Unfortunately it didn't transfer over to defeating the wolf introduction legislation. Really wonder like WA grizzly introduction weather it was already decided prior to commenting period.

Of course it was. You could get 100% opposed and they are still going to stick to their agenda

And it begins, been there, done that and we, decades later, 10s of millions wasted, are still at it.

 :yeah:

I wonder what exactly someone means when they say "Wolves are a critical part of our ecosystem!"
It was one of the comments on the Facebook thread. So if it's critical does that mean it will throw everything out of balance? What part of the ecosystem is currently out of control that wolves will remedy? Can anyone even find an answer that these quacks have posted anywhere? I cant.

A number of people that want the jobs in the environmental non-profits go to the gov agencies first.  Lots of backscratching to open up doors.
Happens with defense contractors taking former military, or private Intel taking former Intel agency employees too.

I understand that predators are needed to keep game herds in balance. But when we remove game herd habitat via human intrusion and development into historic game herd ranges .......and then we license and deploy thousands of hunters into those game herd ranges.....why the hell do we need wolves?

Tot reduce the number of people who know how to fend for themselves. Reduce the need desire and ability to learn how to use guns.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Get rid of the game animals, you get rid of the guns.
