Help Finding fiberglass boat repair
« on: May 14, 2024, 07:14:41 PM »
I am having a hard time finding somewhere local to SW Wa to repair an old family boat of ours. My dad wants to have it done and asked me to find out where and a rough ballpark cost.
The boat is an old trihull Lund 315 deluxe. The transom is rotted some and has no fiberglass on the inside part of the transom.
Fiberglass encased plywood. I have seen tutorials and how to do it yourself, but we just are not up for it, nor have the time.
Need the transom replaced. Tried calling and emailing several places but have had zero response.
Anyone know a good place or roughly what we are looking at for cost?
This is just a picture from Google, don't have any of the actual boat at the moment. But this is just to get an idea of what I'm needing done.

Are there any tech schools in that area that could possibly do it?

Not in SW Wa, but Sunbacker Fiberglass might do it.
