East side Archery elk
« on: April 26, 2024, 01:21:38 PM »
Considering hunting the east side for elk this year. How crowded are the Yakima and Colockum units during archery? Can’t be anywhere close to modern obviously. How does it compare to muzzleloader season?

Muzzy feels busier than archery.  More camps, more road hunters etc.    How much of that is impacted by people just out looking for elk, not sure.

Hop on the wdfw website and look at the hunt reports for the units you’re considering, it will give you a pretty good feel for the pressure  by hunt type
