Shane(WA) -
Sorry - personally don't know anything about that territory.
Talked to some folks who ahve hunted on the edges of the wild life refuge there, but that is it !
Was up at Mica Peak today - someone walked off with one of my popup blinds !!!!!!!
Meant to ask you if you hunt the north side or the south side off of Elder Rd??  Saw some moose sign - but not very fresh.

I live in 130 and know it well and will help out any way I can.  I have seen lots of moose but nothing really big, yet.  I will keep you posted.

I drove from Cheney last night out past Turnbull and turned toward Williams Lake and then cut across towards fishtrap and then back up 90, then turning back into Cheney. I did see a nice little bull out by fishtrap on an. I have a B doe tag out there this year is why I was out scouting in the area. I also saw 4 elk, 15 mule deer, 3 of them are going to be nice mule deer bucks, and 3 whitetail one was a nice buck already starting to branch. I also saw 4 fawns last night, they are so little this time of year, one of them didn't look any bigger than a house cat.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I went to college in Cheney and at the ecology center 4 miles out of town there use to be a HUGE bull that was always hanging around there. Pretty safe spot I guess.

My friend had a huge bull crossing his property on spotted road last summer but he disappeared around September. He no longer owns the place and I think getting permission around there might be difficult unless your using archery equipment. Also, that was last summer and the only moose he was seeing.
This closet is taken- go find your own

Find out what Co.'s are logging in the area, and talk to them. Those boys info is worth gold.

Don't chase too much time chasing down hot leads, a big bull to someone might just be a dink to you on your quest.  That being said I'm pretty sure there's got to be a 50" bull running around that country somewhere.
