Dad (71) is still calling around to all the stores asking when they are getting the Regs in.  I talk to him frequently and he knows digital versions exist (and that I've already got everything done with them), but he's always done it one way for however many decades and won't change that now.

I sent him a link about the deadline extension, and got back "Wow they finally did something smart and let people see the regs in writing before they have to apply".

Doesn't make much difference to me, but people are creatures of habit.

My dad is the same way, so I just printed out all the special permit pages for deer and elk.  If printed front and back, it's about 10 pages and has all the info he needs to make his picks.  If he has any questions, I just have him call me if he needs any other info.

Nice! They delayed special permit deadline, now we wait even longer for the results that already take way too long. WDFW needs to do a better job all around the board. They’re failing this state.

As of noon in the Wenatchee Valley (5/10), no printed regs have been delivered to the usual license dealers. I called 3 locations, and they haven't seen any yet.

I can and probably will utilize the online regs, but I prefer to review with a set of paper regs, then I save the regs for several years as reference material. I don't just apply for the same hunts yearly as some do, plus this year I'm changing disciplines so there's an entirely new amount of research to be done between the available hunts vs timing. Especially to coordinate potential WA hunts with out-of-state trips.

WDFW continues to be a Clown Show, starting at the top... (Jaybo and the "Commie-mission"...er, call it the bottom of the gutpile).
