I did the same thing, tides are great, weather looking awful right now....WDFW must of had long range forecasts to plan the opening  :chuckle:

Thur looks like a busy day for the Coast guard....
People loose common sense with these limited opening seasons..

Yeah, I realized I would pull the plug if it was coho in September, so I'm wondering why I am considering going now.  We can't make the second opener and even 7S looks to be pretty short so there aren't many opportunities.

We got our limit of 5 by 10:30. Averaged 70 per pull.

Easy limits day one, turned around and came back day two after going for an hour and not even making half way out for a normal 20 minute run.

5 limits Fri, 5 limits Sat on the canal across from Bangor.  Sat was sporty in a 12' alum boat.

5 limits on Friday, using 3 pots.  Great weather.  Seems like most people did well.

Limits both days in the canal.  First time venturing out there but good grade of shrimp with 1000 other boats.
