Gen 2 Ruger American AI magazine question.

With the new Ruger American, now being equipt with AI magazines, I have a question?
Can you squeeze a little more OAL, out of your hand loads as opposed to the old style Ruger magazines? I have zero experience with AI magizines, hence the question. Thanks in advance.
