2nd bear tag
« on: May 29, 2024, 08:13:12 PM »
Does anyone know why a second bear tag can’t be purchased until the end of June?

So spring bear hunters don’t buy a second tag.

I know it doesn’t need to make sense, but it would be nice.

I can’t find the article I read but it could possibly be because they are trying to change the season to September 1-November 15 and limit hunters to 1 tag. Anybody else hear/read the same thing? Rules and regulation changes the last couple years seem to be very hush hush

This is not a new thing it’s always been this way.

Not being able to pick up a second tag in the spring. So it’s not because they are trying to get rid of bear hunting or anything. All though they are..

What does spring bear have to do with it? There is no spring bear.
