I had a friend of mine move to Battle Ground from Reno. I have never hunted Elk but have always wanted to. I wanted to go on a deer hunt with him and was hoping to hear some bugling while we were on our deer hunt. I have never heard an elk bugle in the wild!! So I was trying to get some quick info. I will do a little "searching" around on the site here next time.DavidThanks to those who gave up some info
You can catch bulls east or west bugling from the end of August to the end of November. In yakima, the peak is late late sept, to the first week of OCtober. Traditionally the muzzel guys have the best season here. Not that it matters, just clarifying time frames.
