Prep for 06-08-24
« on: June 07, 2024, 10:47:47 AM »
Having a barbecue tomorrow. Smoking 22 1/2 pounds of pork shoulder and a pot of beans. Friends and family are bringing side dishes and olkkdrink. Forgot to take a picture of the beams before I put them in a smoker. I like to cook them the day before and then reheat them. The day of the barbecue just taste better. Which is nothing wrong with the first day. Here’s the recipe for the beans I make when I do this type of barbecue.  Adjust accordingly to your taste, but these in my opinion are freaking awesome 🤑🤑🤑 After the pork shoulder in the smoker about 10 o’clock or so tonight. That way they’ll be done by tomorrow, pics to follow. TBS rules!
Thin blue smoke😉🥃🇺🇸

I'm getting ready to do a 14-pound brisket with a Texas style rub.  Baked beans and grilled asparagus.     Let the BBQ season begin!
