Congrats to Backstraps on winning the 3973th Member Guessing Game, I sent you a PM. There was an unprecedented adjustment of member total very close to the end of the game which prompted the change to member 3973. Leaving it at 4000 would have been unethical.

It is interesting how all the drama is coming from one person, you might want to get a life. :dunno:

Check again I'm not the only one wondering what happened???

:whoo: I won? Mark, I'm LMAO! :chuckle: I knew all along it was going to be the first 3973 guessing game! :chuckle: Not sure what happened? I swear I didn't payoff Dan! :chuckle: I'm fine if we go to 4000! Straps

:chuckle:  Congrats backstraps.  I want to see how close I was to 4,000 since that was the number I was basing my guess on off the stats page, even if its only a personal victory. I think it will be between hogsniper and me.

Well I know that Wea300Mag went to WSU but apparently they didn't teach him how  to count to 4,000.  Should have went to the UW.

:chuckle:

Really??? I don't think I am in the minority here ... Maybe this is what happens when you don't let the game go to 4000 and then don't give a better explanation than that???  Whatever???  :dunno:

See Wea300 theres 4 more people asking What happend too do they need to get a life or is it still just me?
And I think stateing that there was not this drama on the 3000 guessing game is a fair statement because there wasn't!  >:(

Kind of like the mileposts near Nehalem, Oregon,  off by about 12 for a few miles.

First off, I apologize to Mray for my comment, I think he is one of the good guys but I also think his post was out of line. This was supposed to be a fun low key game, one which I'm am supplying the prizes, and to come on here with "wtf this" and "why the f that" was BS.

Secondly, I'm not sure what else to say other than look a post #93. The member total was adjusted(reduced by 27) at member 3982 (about 3 days left in the contest), an unprecedented move as far as I know(Ray will have to explain the sudden reduction). I made the decision to reduce the target by the same 27 members. It would have looked even more shady if I would have let the game play out and Bone won.

Well Wea300 I didn't know you were such a sensitive soul otherwise I wouldn't have said "why F with it" and for the record it was "WT" Not WTF!!! But did you think to ask Ray before you took it upon yourself to change the game and find out why it had been reduced? Maybe it was for the very reason I had said that there was a surge in new memeber accounts that was not of the norm. And maybe they were coming from one or two of the IP's of some of our current members that were in the running for your prizes ...  so leaving it alone may have been the fairest way to handle it in the end anyway  ;)

Why not??? He was in the game wasn't he??? if the Mods arent going to be eligable then either throw out their guess and take the next closest or don't let them guess! Simlpe as that and frankly I for one don't care if you give the prize to Bone Mod or not if he won the dang thing he should get the prize!  :twocents:
