Lots of good heads out there. I use 100 grain fixed blades. Going to use QAD Exodus this season

Gonna depend completely on your overall bow and arrow tuning program. I shoot 100gr iron wills with 75gr brass insert up front. Look up an arrow spine chart based on your draw weight, draw length and recommended point weight that will help tell you what you should shoot.

Radical Archery broad heads, a sponsor on here, are exceptional products with devastating results. I've used them for well over a decade and have never had to track an animal for more than 20-30 yards. My last blood trail on a blackie looked like the Manson murders. I use the 125gr Rival.

If you want a heavier arrow set up with a normal weight broadhead, consider getting a heavy brass insert like was previously mentioned. I use a 125gr Magnus stinger with a 100 grain brass insert. All the magnus broadheads are great. They have a lifetime warranty and are designed well. I've seen one break a leg bone and continue to pass through.

I have a 75 grain inserts that I’m running I’m sure the 25 grain would make a difference as far as having 100 grain insert - 75 grain. I wouldn’t think the broadhead would break.

Get ready for 1000 different responses. If you shoot them in the heart with a field point they die.
