Huckleberry early bull moose
« on: June 12, 2024, 04:24:02 PM »
Going to get a thread rolling now to keep all you guys in the loop through this whole process. Can not wait for the wait period to be up and for this tag to hit the credit card. I don’t think it will actually fully set in until I get the tag in my had. The area isn’t too far of a drive so plan on running cams and scouting a ton, already have lots of people I know outside of this forum jumping in to give info on the hunt. Will do a lot of searching over this site for info and if anybody wants to jump on here and help or if the other tag holders want to ask a question feel free. Will try and keep this updated every step of the way!

Tagging along. In the huckleberries and run a lot of cameras so if I see something of worthiness I can circle back to holler at ya. Of course I want to see what you drop too.

When I drew my bull tag, I called Olympia the next day, trying to buy it. Lol. The guy told me I was jumping the gun a bit.

Congratulations on the draw! The first successful applicant I saw on the forum today... I envy your moose tag. Hoping someday I will get to know the feeling. Wish you the best of luck throughout your scouting season, into your hunt. I have always thought the preparation before the hunt is the best part!!!

Congrats!  My dad drew the 65 plus cow tag there, so we may see you there.   Feel free to reach out and I'll do the same with some scouting intel.

Perfect yes I’ll keep you in mind and circle back letting you know what I’m seeing for cows and if I’m around always willing to run a pack full of meat.

Holy catfish it’s even more real now. Tag is paid for and going to be in the mail head for my pocket today!!!!!! One odd thing I noticed is my tag says it’s valid 10/01/2024-11/30/2024. I would’ve thought it would be 10/01/2024-10/31/2024.

Maybe because the season runs to 10/30/2024

Oh so there’s one tag for everybody but the permit will limit the days hunt-able. Makes sense didn’t even think of that
