There are some toads down in the Blues! You will have a great time.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Nice! I drew Whitcomb archery buck. Have hunted it for does before, so I’m pretty excited.

I certainly plan on putting in the effort. Just a half decent buck always tickles my fancy.

First time I have drawn anything outside of doe/cow tag.
I got Steptoe late tag. Nov 1-24.
Hunted there for 2nd doe. So I know the area ok.
But want to be there for close to 2 weeks if I can.
So any tips on cheap place to stay or best 2 weeks of that time frame for hunting will be throughly appreciated, haha

I drew QT deer for Nooksack. I’ll  post that post success, or failure when the times comes.

I put in for a sure QTD because this is the last deer tag I’ll ever buy in this state.

I’m not going to bad talk the state because I have lived here most of my life, except short periods in 8th grade, and when I first joined the USN, I truly love this state, but the politics make it pretty hard.😢

With that said I’m going to give it my all.👍

Good luck everyone this year.

That’s funny, I drew a doe tag also. Glad the buck season is first at least!

Congratulations on the tag, I’m sorry to hear your done in this state. I know in the mid 2010s you posted some nice bucks you had on trail cameras. They were always cool threads to follow

Only for deer, there’s plenty of predators, and grouse to go after, I’ll keep putting in for the Sauk Bull tag as well. Just done with deer as at my age I really don’t think the herds will recover in my lifetime.
