Cougar? Or just a weird smudge

Had a trail camera up in capitol forest last year and got what I believe is a cougar. First pic is what I think to be the lion, followed by a blank photo, and then one with a doe for reference. Anyone with lion experience think otherwise?

First pic does look like a cougar tail .
Behind those trees ,me thinks.
Which is pretty normal,cougar doesn't stand around long .
I'm gonna say yes! Cougar.
