Congrats, this will be one to remember for sure.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

I spent the weekend I the colockum hiking around, setting some cameras and glassing. Saw a couple bulls that would no brainer shooters anywhere else I’ve ever hunted but not quite what I’m looking for with this tag. Im hoping to turn up some bulls to target on my cams but I feel pretty good about my plan A even if none of the big boys show up. I’ll be back Labor Day weekend I have a feeling it’s gonna be quite the transformation of activity in there by then they should be getting worked up pretty good! Thanks to all you guys that have been sharing intel and wishing me luck. Everyone I’ve talked to has been super cool including the guys I ran into this weekend scouting
Still pretty green up high  but hopefully the woods stay open and some rain wouldnt hurt things

I will say what might have been said before. Look for the cows. It doesn't matter to much where the bulls are right now. When i had the tag I spotted several nice bulls in a half mile area up to the weekend before the opener. When the season started I never saw an elk in that half mile area the entire archery season. Find cows and the bulls will be there during the season.

First decent bull showed up on camera a few days ago. This spot has had lots of cows and a few small bulls come through I suspect as things progress some big bulls will be in there! 25 days till go time
