First decent bull showed up on camera a few days ago. This spot has had lots of cows and a few small bulls come through I suspect as things progress some big bulls will be in there! 25 days till go time
how long has your cam been in that spot? If it’s been soaking a while I would say if you’ve seen one good bull, your camera isn’t  in a good spot.  :twocents:

Don't know the clockum like teanawayslayer does, but I am going to disagree with his comment.  I have plenty of cams that just cows and small bulls on them and once September hits the big bulls start showing up.  On the flip side I have this 1 cam that had nothing but bulls all summer and then they dissappear in September and don't show back up til the end of October.

That’s the beauty of September! I’ll put the miles in and they will let me know where they are at

I made it over last night for a quick scouting trip, got a glassing session in before dark and a few hours this morning. Last night turned up three herds totallallig around 50-60 elk. Only laid eyes on one small bull but there was 3-4 different bulls bugling that I couldn’t see.
This morning in a different spot I glassed up 9 elk all bulls. A few of them are contenders tough to put a score on them from the distance I was at but a few were definitely north of 350” :yike: 21 Days until go time!!

The lightning was insane, but it rained pretty good, my sleeping bag is still drying out. Sunday was a great day in those woods. damp and quiet. No signs of fire

Right on that’s good news. I drove back through from Yakima Sunday and was eye balling it up there for smoke didn’t see any. Hopefully that holds. Good luck to you guys out there

What a great tag.  Can't wait to see what you produce.  Keep pushing and grinding, you find your bull.
