New Swarovski binoculars came out. JJHunter what do you want for your 15x56s?
I was really hoping they would have done a 12x52 NL pure. I need to compare the 10x52 and the 12x42 and see which one fits the bill. The 10x52 is supposed to nearly be an 11 power... if so that could be a nice sweet spot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd bet the 10x52's will not only have a brighter and cleaner image but they'd also be easier on your eyes to view through for extended periods. Other then the size being a little bigger/heavier with these new 10x52's I'd be shocked if they don't provide the best image of any set of binos we've seen to date, particularly, in low light conditions.Extra magnification is great but unless the objective grows with it the image is generally not as crisp and clean as well as it's more tiring to the eyes. I've held on to my 8.5x42 EL's for all the reasons mentioned above and for a smaller set of binos I probably will continue to but these new 10x52 NL's could very well be my next bino purchase. I'm a little surprised Swaro isn't doing a 12x52 NL but I'd imagine they will at some point.
I just wish they’d put a rangefinder in the NL Pures

Leica geovids until then.Just a guess, but I'd imagine a LRF set of NL binos would be, if not, up around $5000 and that may put them into a even more limited market share then they already are.

And being able to range instantly while you’re glassing is worth some additional weight, to me. To each their own I guess. That's what I'm waiting for!
