WOW!  Fantastic buck.  Love watching your hunts.  Now you can go after a monster WA whitetail.   :peep: :dunno:

Sorry guys for the delay.  Out of respect for some other locals and tag holders, I'll not be posting a story until after season. I've got a lot of pics and stuff to go along with the story and I don't want to possibly burn someone's spot.  Plus it's way too long and boring as hell so I need to shorten it up and frankly I just don't have the time to sit down and edit it. Screwed up and shot an elk on Saturday so been cutting meat and cleaning up from that and now I'm in a mad dash to get life squared away before idaho. Then some kids tags and right into MT, then back to idaho to help a bud get his kid a whitetail.  Busy time of year.  Still haven't gotten any grouse in case anyone was wondering :chuckle: :'(

Awesome job!  I figured when I got back into cell service and saw that the page count had doubled on this topic that you had gotten it done. I never had a doubt. What a fantastic reward for all your hard work...a true giant! Looking forward to the story, congrats!

Karl, what a great hunt and buck. Don't shorten the story, we need all the details. Now, honestly, which is better eating: an old, gray 195" buck or that gorgeous bull elk?
