If posible keeep it cool and open to let the skull cool off. Ice would help or snow but that long it will be iffy if the cape would make it or not. Best thing is to freeze of course  ;) If you are by a stream a good place to put it would be in the water, submerged over the head and hide, that will keep it the coolest and might have a chance of making it for 4 or 5 days.

Wow you sure do think pretty highly of yourself.  Sounds to me like you think you are the King Taxidermist, fixing all others "crappy work."

If people don't like a taxidermist's product and take their finished mount to another taxi, then it IS crappy work in their eyes.

Think Highly of myself, NO,  just re-doing crappy mounts that have been screwed up. Do you have a problem with that?? Did you here me say Im the best around ?? I do descent work buddy and its customers bringing me there mounts that basically suck and want me to re-do them, thats what most of the capes go on. Do I need to post some pictures??
Oh and I did not say ALL OTHERS WORK, just the CRAPPY work. There is a few real good Taxis In washington and I hope to be one of them some day. For now Im just average in my eyes.
