parker lake permit
« on: June 16, 2024, 11:07:24 AM »
ok my 18 year old son drew a cow moose for 49 dg north. i see in the notes you need a parker lake special permit to hunt parker lake area. i cant seem to locate or find anything anywhere on a parker lake special permit on the wdfw website or regulations other than moose area 3 parker lake boundary descriptions. I'm assuming i cant hunt the parker lake with this cow tag. does anyone know if i can or can not hunt it. or does anyone know if I'm able to get some kind of parker lake permit to access the land. you can pm me if you would like, thanks for your time.

They used to have a specific Parker lake permit for moose I’m guessing that’s what they are talking.

Parker Lake area is firearm restricted

Also its pretty thick. With having the whole 49 area available you won't need to worry about the Parker Lake area.

i thought i heard that the state gave it or sold the area to colville indian tribe last year. i believe it is no longer a military compound like it used to be i know that much. and i know the used to give out permits for moose and now they dont but they still stated in the regs you need a permit to access the land. so that why im confused but thanks for your guys comments appreciate it

I also thought the regs excluded Parker lake.
