Quality Pearrygin deer tag
« on: June 17, 2024, 07:04:55 PM »
I drew a rifle Quality late season Pearrygin deer tag. I've been in there a couple of times. I killed a few turkeys in there. But have never stayed in Twisp. Can anyone suggest a good place to stay? hoping to stay close to town cause the snow is in  :dunno:. I will be in there with boots on the ground, I might even try to get in there to chase bears.
Stay tune, I will do my best to keep tracked of my scouting trips and the hunt itself.

15 years to draw a Pogue tag and 8 years to draw this one......wish elk was like this  :yike: for me.

I’d start looking for an Airbnb

Great tag  congrats!! I've stayed at the hotel just inside of twisp but I'd recommend just throwing up a tent in the woods. We bought a 10x12 camping  stove tent from Walmart a few years back an added the alpine stove to it. Great set up an you don't need a hotel. Your in the woods!!! Just my 2 cents

We stayed at Idle a while in Twisp, nice rooms, we cooked a few meals and went out for some also, hot showers are nice after a long day of hiking!

This once was one of the most coveted tags in the state and saw some monsters taken there. Not to say a nice buck can't still be had. I am sure the number of applicants for the unit was down which would help a hunters odds. Regardless good luck to the hunter.
