BC Mtn Goat Recommendations
« on: June 19, 2024, 07:46:24 PM »
I’ve decided it’s time to get BC Moose and a BC Goat hunt on the calendar. Looking at 2025 and 2026. I’ve had quite a few conversations with outfitters, but would love to hear of people’s experience hunting BC goat or moose. Would love to hear successes, frustrations, and any other info as I’m navigating this decision on which outfitter to go with. I’m over in Eastern WA near Spokane and think that for goat it would be great to hunt them in Southeast BC so that I could drive up there.

I’m open to a combo hunt, but also okay doing them as two separate hunts.

Thanks all for your advice!! :)

If I’m not mistaken Northern BC has the biggest goats. We have hunted Moose a couple times with Mike Young at Lonesome Mountain Outfitters. He has goat and moose packages for a reasonable price but he’s most likely booked out a few years.

Lloyd and Jack Hooper at Babine Guide Outfitters. I hunted goats with Lloyd in 2019 and had great trip. I know lots of people who hunt with them regularly for bears moose and goats. Let me know if you have any questions.

ETA: if your on their website remember that rates are in Canadian funds, you have to convert to US dollars.
