Knight Bighorn rail for scope??

 0 MOA on the rail, Seekins 34mm .92 rings.

I bought the Leupold two piece rails and had to get lower rings as the rings that came with the rds scope were to tall.

I got the Murphy Precision rail, looks like your 2 piece base will be easier to put a cap on than the 1 piece. I’m sure happy with the RDS!

 Update for my Bighorn and the RDX.

 New Bighorn purchased several years ago during their blowout sale, even though I’d never needed one because I can’t draw a tag.

 Both my kids drew good muzzy cow tags this year, so I’m getting it set up.

 I went with Knights recommended load to start, using their 300gr poly tipped bullets.

 100gr of Triple 7 and 300gr poly tip bullet. Open sights, first shot is all the way to the right.

 Cleaned the gun and fired again with no adjustment, that’s the next one in from the right.

 Keep in mind that this is my son shooting open sights, and he’s never shot a muzzy before.

 Cleaned again and adjusted the open sight, that’s the third from right.

 Adjusted sight and shot again, that’s the one right down the middle.

 That showed me the load was perfect, so I mounted the rail and red dot.

 He took two shots with the red dot at 50 and it was dialed, so he moved the target out to 100. This is his first shot with the red dot!

His next shot was one inch left at the same elevation…we packed up after that!

M-Ray was there coaching the entire time and can confirm all of it!

Following, some great info here on what has and hasn't worked!    I have a stainless big horn with the fire sights that's been great but may try a read dot or 1x scope after the late season is over.

Update…my son dropped his elk at 170 yards, right through the heart…and it was his first ever kill.

Just ordered up similar components for mine and am anxious to try it out. Any tips or tricks you learned I'd love to hear.

 If you have a Bighorn, I’d start with the 300gr poly tip and 100gr of Triple 7. Proved to be perfect for the muzzy, just get it dialed.

 We dialed in the open sights, then mounted the scope. Was way easier and more accurate than I had guessed it was going to be.
