If you have a Bighorn, I’d start with the 300gr poly tip and 100gr of Triple 7. Proved to be perfect for the muzzy, just get it dialed.

We dialed in the open sights, then mounted the scope. Was way easier and more accurate than I had guessed it was going to be.

Lots of good bullet and powder combos that work. The tricky part comes down to the shooter doing their part with modern muzzies.

I want to put a scope on one of my bighorns. I like the looks of the two piece mounts. Not a fan of the single piece rails getting in the way of the breach. That would hinder my latex glove waterproofing technology.

Haven’t had an issue accessing the breach or cleaning with my one piece. YMMV

You got a pic of latex glove on bighorn just curious how your waterproof setup works and what it looks like exactly.

I've muzzy hunted with a Knight inline for close to 30 years. Never had a need to cover the nipple or barrel. And Ive hunted in torrential downpours. Its all about using good caps (rws) and not pointing your barrel in the air when it's raining.
