6.5mm Sierra 140TGK bullets
« on: June 17, 2024, 04:10:33 PM »
Does anyone have any real world experience with these bullets on game?  They shoot extremely well in my Creed, but I have no knowledge of how they work on game.  Any opinions are appreciated.

Not yet,  I have some of those loaded with 40grains of IMR4064 for my 6.5 swede.  Going to try them on elk this year.

Put the bullet where it matters and they die. My wife has killed deer out to 400 yards with the 90gr TGK from her .243 and my dad killed his bull at 600 yards with the 165gr TGK from his 300 WSM.

It seems that the bullet will its job if we do ours.

Very nice shooting by your wife and dad.
