Badger unit second deer youth
« on: July 11, 2024, 10:33:59 AM »
Hey all, my son drew the second deer tag for Badger unit.  He is 13.  I hunted there probably 30 years ago and almost died twice.  Those are different stories for another day.  I know the unit is almost all private.  Wondering if anyone knows or is willing to let a youth hunt on their land.   Thanks everyone!

There are small tracts of BLM and state that are accessible and should produce a doe pretty easy.  That being said, knocking on a few doors is almost certainly going to get you some ground for a youth hunter looking to kill a doe.  I would not wait till the last minute to knock and door and OnX maps is gonna be your best friend.
