He has decided that quail are good and he shall carry them all day. He did have to drop the empty Modelo that accompanied him for some time

Quite the little helper. Kept up all day. Found and retrieved a few dead birds. Even found some leftover birds from a covey.

Kumpel has really talen off and become not only a great back up to Der Panzer but is getting into his own points as well. Gorgeous last weekend on the eastside and really good numbers of quail. Only one per covey and solid walkup points getting the shot has really got the young fella calmed.

Kleine Kumpel just survived his first bout of salmon poisoning. Rough on the little fella but got it in time. Got it either on the Skook or Chehalis. Be vigilant

Glad he made it.  I know others not so lucky.  Great looking dog and sounds like he's learning quick.  I love my GWP!

Thanks. Sure awful to see the life just drain out of these high energy pups. He'll be on released chuks and gubmnt roosters all summer. Going into October full assault with high expectations. Salmon poisoning is an illness critters can get if they ingest dead fish that are infected with a certain parasite that comes from a snail? Very deadly for domestic dogs if not treated.

Little PIA has really filled out. Set in about 2lbs heavier than Der Panz did while in Prime. Just tried on his new swimmin jacket. A few more stitches for the throat area and he'll be hittin it hard. No takers for the upland shoot tomorrow so he's gonna get some geese
