Unit 39 Idaho antlerless muzzleloader
« on: July 13, 2024, 09:05:55 AM »
My buddy and I were selected for cow elk muzzleloader in Idaho 39. Have hunted several units in Idaho but never 39. Looks like we will be looking around Atlanta to start out. We are both older than dirt but still get around pretty good. We have quads and like to putt around until we see something that looks promising and then spend the day in the woods. I hear there is a bunch of pressure in 39. Anyone have any tips would be appreciated. Also if anyone has a deer or elk tag later than ours I would happy to pass along any info I get from my hunt once I get back. Our hunt is mid September thru the 30th of September.

I live in that area. There is also an archery hunt during that time as well. Atlanta is a good spot to start. Look for timbered areas.
