For those hunting whitetail during early archery, are you sticking strictly to deer OR also carrying a bear tag a long and shooting one from your stand?

I'm not an archery hunter ,so can't really answer.
Not sure you'll get many responses.

Can say Good luck on the hunt.
Don't be fooled by the heat ,I see deer moving until about midday.
Usually towards water.

I always have a tag in my pocket.  Whether I utilize it or not that’s another thing.

Unless I have a BIG buck on cam in a specific spot, I have 3 big bears on cam I'd shoot. I'll be checking cams in a 'lil over 2 weeks and if no big deer I'll just replace batteries and wait until November to hunt. No need to waste my elk hunting days
