selkirk moose
« on: July 29, 2024, 01:08:41 PM »
well now it's official, I got my Selkirk bull moose permit today!!! ( luckily I still got a tag ). it replaces my original tag for Mt. Spokane N. ( which I had already been over scouting before the mess up ) heading over August 16th for a few days to start getting familiar with the area, from what I've been reading is not to expect to see much? but just to find spots and get to know the roads.
any insight, helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Tagged along on a friends permit last year, after several scouting trips in august and sept didn't see any moose till Oct 1st, Your on the right track to just get knowledge of roads and the unit, we focused on the central part of the unit and we got it done Oct 4th. Good luck and make those memories.

Sounds like a good time…think I'll tag along as well! Should I bring the same frame pack as last time?
