Vintage Redfield Tracker
« on: August 06, 2024, 06:59:20 AM »
Anyone familiar with a Redfield Tracker rifle scope? I was looking at a rifle, and it had one mounted up. The rifle was a mid 90s Rem 7600. The scope was either a 2x10x40 or 3x12-40, and appeared older than the rifle. Wish I could remember more accurately. I am thinking if I make the purchase the scope should be replaced, but I also know Redfield made some great scopes back in the day. If the rifle scope was a Redfield 5 star, good chance I would not be asking any questions about it. Just unfamiliar with the tracker. Interweb searches have come up pretty dry for me. I was so dazzled by the condition of the rifle, I did not get pay enough attention to the scope. Thanks for any Redfield Tracker info/opinions.
