We have used the Block Managment ranched for years, even though we have private property to hunt on. We scout all the block management areas around us in case the elk have moved off the ranch and on to a nearby Block Management area. Depending on where in the state you are hunting, some are better for deer, and some are better for elk. Shot an elk a couple years ago by seeing them from the highway on the way into town for lunch and pulled over and looked at OnX and it was block management, signed in and bam, elk down :IBCOOL:.  It is like any other hunting though; you need to put in the time to scout and know where on the property the game is. Respect the property so this great program that Montana has can be around for our grandchildren.  ;)
