I run a kuiu guide jacket for my outer. I use the Marino wool underneath with a dri fit tee under that . Depending on how cold it is I use a different weight of Merino for my long sleeve. This is all Eastside hunting.

Big fan of fleece when wanting to be quite comfortable and warm. I have a set of badlands fleece gear that is really comfortable.

Years ago I bought predator camo heavy fleece top and bottoms . Nicest stuff I’ve worn in late season. Extremely quiet and warm

I have a pair of cabelas heavy heavy camo bibs I use late season with a king of the mountain wool jacket over the top. I will sit 10+ hours a day comfortably for as long as I need to be out there.

tree stand hunting? If so i wear a fleece outer layer. predator camo has been good to me. Whitetail are the crack heads of the forest and will hear anything. fleece keeps things as quiet as possible.

:yeah: I would not wear anything other than fleece in late season a mature buck could hear a feather drop on those cold still mornings.

I own lots of KUIU gear and that is not quiet enough for sitting in a stand in the late season, I may wear my kuiu pants to hike in , but the fleece goes over the top

I have typically used a SKRE hardscrabble jacket but recently have tried out the Duckworth Company merino wool powder hoody and do not know if I will ever change. Fantastic for most weather and great for camp as well.
