20 years in prison sounds reasonable if I was the judge. We don’t have many officers, only 1 for my county now but they do good work. Been helping mine out since last year who is currently building a pretty damn good case.
I’ve heard of “trespass fees” before. Pretty sneaky way of getting around “not selling” the actual tag.
I think this old boy has what they call FU money…He had a dream season lined up (legally) and still cheated/poached….i don’t get it?

I’m not a fan of the article title. This is about blatant poaching trophy animals in trophy units. Someone has a burr in their saddle about the LAP tag program. That’s like blaming the Supertag program for what happened.Just seems silly to focus on LAP tags. I had that helicopter fly over me while hunting last year…I read every page of the report. The poaching, the flying during season/hunting same day…those are the major issues I have.
