I’ve heard of “trespass fees” before. Pretty sneaky way of getting around “not selling” the actual tag.
Same thing goes on in WA fyi

I’m not a fan of the article title.  This is about blatant poaching trophy animals in trophy units.   Someone has a burr in their saddle about  the LAP tag program.  That’s like blaming the Supertag program for what happened.

Just seems silly to focus on LAP tags.   I had that helicopter fly over me while hunting last year…I read every page of the report.   The poaching, the flying during season/hunting same day…those are the major issues I have.

That guy should get a lifetime hunting ban, prison time and a huge fine.
