Montana Draw
« on: June 17, 2009, 07:41:25 PM »
Does anyone know when the draw will be for montana special permits for deer and elk.  I know it says july 21st.  Is that usually close to when they draw or is it usually earlier?  Its my first year putting in so I thought I would ask some of you veterans.

Not sure.  This is my first year too.  I am not holding my breath though.  I am in for 270 and 261 for deer (I drew Deer A Combo), and have virtually no chance of being drawn.  Still, I would like to know for sure before I do my scouting trip in late July.  Also would be nice to know if I drew for a speed goat too...

"Week of July 21"

That's why I am planning my deer/(hopefully)antelope scouting trip for the week of the 27th...
