Turkey Hunting anyone?
« on: September 17, 2024, 06:20:02 PM »
Looking to do some Crossbow Turkey hunting in Western or Central Wa.  Does anyone here want to join and know of a good place?  All of my Turkey hunting to date has been in the Spokane area and am looking for something closer to home.
Unapologetically American!

Have you scouted for turkeys on the west side?  The population of turkeys on the west side are a lot and I mean a lot lower then on the east side.  If anyone knows where easterns are they will not give that information up.  Plus a lot of those birds are on timber company so need to pay to play.  If I were you I would concentrate on the eastern cascades.  There are birds from the Oregon to the Canadian border.  In pocket areas but they are there.  I am also awesoming you are talking spring hunting because the west side is not open in the fall except Klickitat and Ockanogan.

I'd be open to do some turkey hunting. I have 2 tags left and want to fill them. I can ask around about turkey in Wenatchee but that area would be new to me for turkey. I've been going to Colville for turkeys this year. Ping me if you're wanting to go and we can figure out dates.
