Oregon Chesnimnus Rifle Muley
« on: August 22, 2024, 06:28:09 PM »
Anyone have some experience in the Chesnimnus that would be willing to swap some PM’s? Scouted last weekend and want to ping my thoughts on what I should do for future scouting trips and potentially the season off someone that has some experience in that unit or similar country.

Hunted elk in the unit a handful of times and have seen a handful of good bucks over the years. What timeframe is your tag?

10/5 to 10/16. Will probably hunt the latter half due to my project ending on 10/10.

I hunted elk about 10 years ago in that unit, and was shocked at the amount of decent bucks I saw.  Ive always wanted to go back haha.  Again that was 10 years ago, but I could tell you what i know!
