2024 Elk Success Thread
« on: August 24, 2024, 01:13:50 PM »
Let’s get this one rolling. I was offered a damage elk tag for my 11 year old daughter Rylee so we went out yesterday evening to see what we could find in the orchard. Walking through the rows we came across a single elk feeding about 80 yards away. Quick
look over we thought it was a small yearling cow from last year. Perfect. Rylee made a perfect lung shot and had her first elk on the ground! We got up to the elk and realized it was from this year, but she is super happy and we couldn’t be any more proud of her!
